CEL comes on and goes into limp mode (won't go over 2800 RPM). Turn the ignition off and back on, and it goes out of limp mode but usually comes back on soon.

1.4 idle speed unstable. hi bought a 1.4 type s 2 weeks ago and have noticed the idle jumps around a bit when its warmed up. it will sit at 1000-900 rpm for a while then drop to say 750rpm then after say 5 secs will jump to 900-1000 for say 10 secs then drop again it will repeat this for as long as its idling. car only done 200 miles just
